Bill’s Chocolate Waffles<\/p>\n

• 2 cups flour<\/li>\n
• 1-1\/2 cups brown sugar<\/li>\n
• 3\/4 cup raw cocoa<\/li>\n
• 2 teaspoons baking powder<\/li>\n
• 3 eggs<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n
• 1 tablespoon\u00a0vanilla<\/li>\n
• 3\/4 cup melted butter<\/li>\n
• 1-1\/4 cup milk<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 cup chopped nuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Optional Ingredients:<\/p>\n

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    1. \u00a0<\/span>Mix dry ingredients first in mixing bowl.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0<\/span>Mix in the rest of the ingredients.\u00a0 Batter will thicken after a few minutes so do not make it to thick.\u00a0 Consistency should be like cake batter.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. \u00a0<\/span>Preheat waffle iron and make just like any other waffles.\u00a0 These waffles have no tendency to stick and take a little longer to bake than the average waffle.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       \u00a0<\/span>Our family generally lets these waffles cool on an oven rack and we eat them for deserts and snacks. <\/span><\/p>\n
